Mookie Betts is the brand new single by London alt-indie band Victory Kicks. Recorded at home during the spring of 2020, the song is about being in a band during lockdown and about an imagined and distant moment when being together becomes possible again, and how that might feel. Mookie Betts is the lead single from the band’s seventh album Free the Night which was recorded at home during the Coronavirus pandemic and will be released in 2021. It features ten new songs about life, love and loss during lockdown, as well as the redemptive power of late-night Baseball.
